Okay so it's changed, I heard. I'd only tasted it when friends brought it home to NJ. I could eat that cannoli cream on toast, lick it fingerful by fingerful... of unctuous, creamy delight. Grabbed a small table and our waitress was helpful and out up with our friend's compaint, "What! Cannoli with peanut butter? Huh?" and brought us our cannolis. And treats they were. I had a hazelnut cannoli, perfection with a crisp shell, and thick wowza cream that thankfully wasn't sugary or greasy in your mouth. Just right, as a cannoli should be. Only jarring note: please please PLEASE serve espresso with a sugar cube instead of packets of sugar that take ages to dissolve and leave you with tepid espresso... Do not miss!

Never had a canoli before but this was great. Went on a Sunday evening and it was pack but didn't wait longer than 5 minutes. The lady seemed to have an attitude though, but it was Great. Will go again.

Good treats but no worth the wait. A little overpriced; ther are plenty of other comparable bakeries in the north end.

Yes, there can be an insanely long line and seem a bit touristy on a weekend night but if you look at it as an adventure, strike up a conversation with others, and are patient then you'll appreciate devouring your delicious cannoli even more. Modern pastry and several other bakeries also deliver yummy treats (and often fill the cannoli when you order) but our family returns to Mike's time after time for years. We even carefully transport the cannoli in our carryon bags to fly back out West!
