This is a pick up and fast food kind of joint for Falafel. But the quality and quantity are excellent while being reasonably priced. They give you 1 falafel to eat while yours is being wrapped too. Choice of menu also very good. Must visit while in the area.

I love falafel and mid-eastern food. The Falafel King on Washington St. is the best around (and there are many options nearby). Staff is spectacular too. A must try.

A great quick spot for excellent mediterranean food. The falafel is perfection and baba ghanoush is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Wish Falafel King had locations in every city.

Would recommend this eatery to anyone.
Food is served quickly, staff is friendly, and portion sizes are large.

Visitors are greeted with the offer of a free sample of the falafel- not a skimpy morsel on a toothpick, but a whole falafel rich with parsley and dipped in tahini sauce. If that doesn’t convince you to stay and eat here, a look at the fresh and tasty sides should do it. There are wraps or plates with falafel or kabobs, your choice. The Falafel King platter comes with a choice of meat Kevin’s, marinated and beautifully grilled. The lamb kebab was served medium upon request and consisted of seven pieces of delicious, tender lamb drizzled with tahini sauce. The platter comes with two big falafel and a voice of sides. The hummus was creamy, the tabouleh was rich with parsley and tomato with a sprinkling of bulgur wheat and wonderful, zingy tartness. The rice pilaf was worth having all by itself, savory and rich.

The place does a fairly brisk take-out business, in addition to the dine-in. It’s essentially counter service, but they are very accommodating.
Soft drinks only. The atmosphere is pretty generic small counter-service restaurant, clean but fairly bare except for signage and the one large-screen TV tuned to Arab-language channels.

The menu is limited, which allows them to focus on doing a few things very well. Meat eaters and vegetarians can find good choices here.

Great stop to eat on the Freedom Trail, very reasonable prices. The King platter with lamb kebab and a drink came in around $14 and the food was far better than many of the meals I had in more expensive places in the area.

Stopped at Falafel King for a quick dinner while on business trip in Boston. Was disappointed with the shish kabob wrap I got, but liked the falafel that was offered while waiting in line.
The restaurant is very much a fast-food joint with only a few tables for those few who want to stay and eat - most seem to take the food to go. The menu is simple, with focus on falafels and sish kabobs. I got a warm, crunchy and delicious falafel while waiting to give my order, so had high hopes. Ordered a mixed sish kabob wrap with various fixings and ate in the restaurant. The meal was huge, so no danger of leaving hungry, but the quality was nothing out of the ordinary. The meat had good flavor but was somewhat dry and the vegetables were bland and cut into large pieces that do not really work in a wrap. Nothing bad, but nothing great either.
Service was very friendly and quick.
