One of our fave entrees at Nopalitos is Tacos Camarones! With keen competition among several Mexican restaurants here in Harrison, it's important to find fave entrees at the really good ones - especially at this restaurant, which has an extensive menu of various Mexican fare. This entree is generously portioned, with toppings and sides taking up most of the table space at our fairly roomy booth! Deliciously seasoned medium-sized shrimp on warm tortillas, with spicy sauce, lettuce, and fresh pico de gallo, accompanied by a large bed of tasty, fluffy Mexican rice will leave you full, whether lunch or dinner! Fresh cilantro makes their salsa iteratively, along with their warm and thin, salted tortilla chips. Friendly service, reasonable prices! Offered "sodas to go", which is always a kind gesture. Try Nopalitos and find your fave entree(s)!

This restaurant has the most open and friendly atmosphere of any restaurant I have been to in recent times.
The owner was on the floor and active with staff and customers.

The food was first class.

We have a favorite Mexican Restaurant to eat at - and this is it! We live in Branson, MO - about 30 minutes away - and drive here to eat at least once a month!

As Mexican food is our favorite type of eat-out food, we frequent them a lot. We have traveled to Texas and Mexico 3 times in the past few years, so we feel confident that we know how to judge them against each other and against authentic Mexican food.

We rate Mexican restaurants based on 2 foods, prices, service, atmosphere and cleanliness.

The 2 foods we compare are chips and salsa and fajitas. The chips and salsa here are very good. The chips served here are a thin, white corn chip served warm, as they are baked fresh. The salsa is served chilled, and has a very strong garlic, onion, cilantro and jalapeño flavor. There is a spicy version upon request, and we always ask for it and mix the two for a wonderful flavor.

The fajitas are very good - well above average. It helps that they add chorizo as an added flavor enhancer. The serving size is much larger than average - my wife and I split a single serving and always have leftovers to take home. The quality of the ingredients used is very high.

Price - Fajitas for one with water (and unlimited chips and salsa for free) is less than $15. That is more reasonable than most Mexican restaurants in this area. The combination of food/experience is well worth the drive and the price.

Service - Employees seem to be enjoying being there. We see laughing, smiling and, occasionally, singing.

Which means the atmosphere was more than desirable. It wasn't overly noisy, but has the feeling of a place we want to frequent. Parking is conveniently located just a few steps from the door.

Cleanliness was above average. Restrooms are always clean.

Overall, a step above the rest. If I had to give this restaurant a letter grade, it would be a solid A. We always come back.

Good food, service, and atmosphere. Usually very busy during lunch and dinner times so an in between time such as 3-4 isn't as crowded. Great salsa and chips.
