We were looking for a special place to celebrate my birthday while visiting the San Diego Marina area. Did we hit a home run at Roy's! So special! Loved the atmosphere and the food. Filet was the best ever tasted and the Mahi Mahi was a fresh as if we were eating at Roy's Honolulu locations. And the desert? OMG! The pineapple upside down cake was to die for! Ask for a booth over looking the marina. The service was 5-Star all the way, professional and not intrusive at all.

Nice staff, motivated to try hard, but working with uninspiring food from an average chef. Nothing special, so don't go out of your way...

The view of the harbor can't be beat. The service was excellent and the food tasty. Not Enough non seafood options and pricey but worth it for a special lunch or night out.

Congenial spot for lunch if visiting the San Diego waterfront and yacht marina, or attending the adjacent convention centre. Good lunch menu and upscale wine list.
The appetitiser plate for two is excellent and sufficiently filling that we did not need to order anything else, except of course for two decent glasses of wine.
Sitting out in the sun watching the boats and the world go by on the Boardwalk a few feet away - excellent. All for a reasonable price with friendly efficient staff.
