We came into San Diego on a cruise ship, so the pier for Flagship Cruises was very close. A group of us had decided to go to Coronado Island for the day and taking the ferry there made it very easy. Reasonable prices and nice views from up top to take pictures added to the experience.

Crew was so helpful- even letting me borrow a jacket in the cold weather! The volunteer docents were very knowledgeable about marine life. Spotters helped us see a few whales, dolphins and a sunfish. Great day to get out on the water in San Diego!!

Our family of 4 enjoyed the afternoon whale watching excursion. With a running narration with a representative from the Scripps Institute, we were treated to a knowledgeable description of both the whales and the San Diego surroundings.

The crew on board was highly attentive to families, especially when it came to comfort. They worked hard to help prevent sea sickness and kept all passengers informed about the progress of the trip.

Our trip did not see a large number of animals, but was fortunate enough to see a juvenile grey whale feeding- a behavior not often observed in this area.

The excursion is a great way to see more than just whales. We had great views of the downtown skyline, a close look at the Naval facilities around the bay, as well as the trip out onto the ocean to see the coastline.

We enjoyed our afternoon on the two bays at San Diego. The ships have lots of seating, with food and drink available to purchase. The trip is informative and interesting. Try to go on a sunny day!

We’ve done numerous boat tours. This one was very relaxing.
Nice Boat. Nice crew.

We did the 2 hour tour. We boarded for the south, stayed on board while the they docked again to pick up people for the north.

Some of the material was redundant, so if we had to do it again, we would probably just choose the South tour. Great views Coronado bridge & lot of info on Navy ships.
