Ralphie & his family gave us the idea to enjoy Chinese food on Christmas Day, so we gathered a group of friends and went to the Szechuan Mandarin. We arrived early and it wasn't crowded, but by the time we left it was packed! Service was good, and the food was good.

I've eaten Chinese food all over the USA and this one is at the top of the list. The food is tasty and consistent. Never had a bad meal. It's not fancy but always a welcome stop when I visit San Diego.

Was in town moving my student back onto campus. It was late on a Sat. Night we were hungry and agreed on Chinese. Found it easily. Plenty of parking, even if it was a busy time, which it wasnt. We were seated immediately. Drink orders taken, food ordered and poof! Food was ready! And very delicious. We has a mix of white and fried rice to accompany our broccoli beef, combination soft noodles, and crispy chicken in a very nice, a little sweet, garlic sauce. Hot, plentiful, perfect. Service was attentive and pleasant throughout. $50 with tip for the 3 of us. ( we drink water)

Our favorite Chinese restaurant has hit a slump so we gave this one a try. It's good, the servings were huge and the food was served piping hot. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The Mai Tais taste like they are made from a mix instead of fresh juice, so I wouldn't order one again. The food was on the salty side and my nose got stuffy like it does when I have sulfites from some wine, so maybe they put msg in their food.

We had a group of 6 and were seated right away. Christine was our waitress and she really does a great job. This place has a full bar with a healthy pour. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was all very delicious. They even made us a dish which wasn't on the menu but one our guests wanted to order it! Very nice spot.
