We were in La Jolla for the month of February and this restaurant was close to our rental accommodation. After our fist meal we returned another 4 times to eat here. It is a casual place that has a great atmosphere and excellent seafood. Highly recommend.

There were four people in our party. Two of us ordered a fish sandwich, one a fish plate and my wife a Market Garden Beef Burger. The Fish Sandwich's were fried but not greasy, just right, most of all it was fresh as can be, Service was slow but that could be that it was crowded. As far as pricing it was reasonable for the city. My only critic is they had a limited beef option

I wrote a review back in 2015 and hoped my experience this time would be better. Sadly, no. The view from the balcony is still great, and the food is still mediocre.

I had cod and chips - the most basic test for a seafood restaurant. The ungenerous portion of fish was dry and encased in breadcrumbs. Breadcrumbs! Not batter! It's just wrong. The coleslaw was bland and watery. The French fries were quite good but not hot enough initially so they cooled much too fast.

The service was efficient, but I prefer not to be called 'dear' by the waitress.

There were two of us and we both had the same meal, I had an Arnold Palmer, my companion had coffee, and the bill came to nearly $45. Absurd. If you take my advice, if you want fish and chips you'll hoof it south to Seaport Village and eat at the first little place on the left. Jollier view, Infinitely superior fish, and about half the price.

This is a high volume seafood restaurant. The space is nice, high quality construction and as others have said, great views. Go for the views, not the food, which was medium quality. Oysters were very good; crab not so much. Farmed salmon (yuck!). Desserts were ok but nothing to rave about. Servers were friendly but continually mixed up dishes and forgot to bring requested drinks.

Went for lunch on a Sunday and check In Process is terrible. A lot of people waiting and standing around even though many empty tables. Had the specialty of the house which was the seafood cioppino which did not have great taste. Also calamari appetizer was cold. Disappointing based on prior reviews. Great location and views so will draw a lot of tourists but can do much better.
