Being the mullet king of San Diego, I have the opportunity to dine at some of San Diego's top restaurants. When my wife thought she might like to dine here for our anniversary I wasn't sure.
We grabbed a pre dinner drink at the bar and Tom helped us choose the perfect cocktail.
From the moment we sat down Natalie was awesome. She took her time to get a feel for our likes and dislikes with regards to serving speed and whatnot. she wasn't overbearing like some servers, and I have eaten at some of the finest eateries in the world.
Michael never missed a beat keeping our water filled, the delicious butter restocked and our used lates cleared. For just starting there he seems to have gotten things right fairly quickly.
My wife would chuckle every time Dennis brought our food over because he seemed so sincere and passionate about what he was presenting and his smile said it all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful anniversary. Alberto was extremely professional and took the time to sit with us near the end of our meal and talk about the restaurant in general.
If I had known about this place sooner I would have been eating here every time the tasting menu changed. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were awesome. Hoping next time the sommelier will be there.
Just remember we will be back and the mullet king loves table 16.
