We decided to try this Japanese Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has a beautiful interior. We were greeted by the hostess who immediately sat us down. She was very friendly. The place was not very busy at noon and sometimes that could be a bad sign. However the restaurant began to fill up quickly. The restaurant actually has two eating areas. The main dining area and secondary which has the bar and restroom. The secondary area was nicely decorated as well.
Our waitress was great and was not overbearing. We both ordered the tropical ice tea which had a great flavor. We finally decided what to order. For appetizers we had the Homemade Gyoza. They were wonderful and flavorful. You can either get them fried or steamed. We decided on the Gyoza being steam. We also ordered a couple of sushi rolls which were wonderful and were not fishy tasting at all. The wasabi was great. I love it when it feels like it can clear your sinuses. My partner ordered Vegetable Yakisoba and I ordered the Black Tonkotso Ramen, which had a wonderful flavorful broth and the black garlic oil gave it a great flavor. The pork or chasu was tender. The Yakisoba itself was great and pack a great flavor.
The service was excellent and the staff checked on us frequently. The sushi and the appetizers came out quickly and our lunch course was ready immediately we finish our sushi and appetizers. Our waitress was friendly and served us with a smile.
Overall we had a great experience with the staff and the food.
