“Good Value”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

I first went to PJ's about 25 years ago. It is still a very popular stop right on Route 6 for clams, fried fishs, lobster rolls, etc. The food is constitently good and is a very good value. Well worth a visit if you have never been there.

“Excellent Ice cream”
Reviewed 25 October 2011

When people wait in line it's a good sign, and so it was!! But be prepared to choose from so many different tastes, textures and toppings! I'm talking about the ice cream of course. The setting and experience is typically american...some sort of "Happy Days" diner. I only wish we had had one more day in Wellfleet, to try the restaurant as well, it sure looked inviting!

“Great, unpretentious, cheap”

The place for lobster rolls. Soft ice cream for dessert. Nothing fancy.

“Unassuming, but worth a try”
Reviewed 17 September 2011

We intended to go to Mac's but they were closed that day. Disappointed, we headed back on Route 6 but quickly saw PJ's and decided to stop. The menu was interesting and not just the usual roadside clam shack fare. I had a lobster roll, and while it was a tad smaller than I prefer (though also cheaper than all the rest on the Cape), it was quite fresh and tasty. My wife had the "fishwich" with cod, and found it to be quite good, nice and moist without being overly-breaded. The prices were right, and the food was good. We'll definitely do PJ's again!

“Excellent food....”
Reviewed 15 September 2011

We stopped at P'J's for lunch, after hearing the report from our sister-in-law who had stopped there on her way into Wellfleet. She had had some chowder which she raved about. We were not disappointed! My husband had a fried cod fish sandwich on a fresh roll with lettuce and tomato. It was a thick piece of cod and not greasy. He said it was excellent. We shared two pounds of fresh steamers that come with hot clam broth and melted butter. They were super! I also had a bowl of their New England clam chowder which was thick and hot. We opted to sit outside at the picnic tables , so you order at the window and they call your number when it is ready. There is an area on the side with all kinds of condiments, napkins etc. There is also an indoor dining area if you prefer. They have quite an extensive menu and there is an ice cream place right next door so dessert is never far away. Our meal was excellent and we are definitely going to stop there again when we visit the Cape. Later on in the day while reading some of the local travel magazines , I saw where Duff, from Ace of Cakes on the Food Network, had eaten there and had done a spot on this restaurant on "the Best thing I ever Ate" and had their lobster roll. Guess what we are having next time!!! Stop by and have a great meal. Enjoy!
