Authentic Italian. Best Cannoli I've ever had. Pizza is very good with lots of oil. No parmigiana cheese.

Went to sottocasa for a beer tasting. They do this off and on. The beers are Italian craft beers. The food is excellent!
Their pizzas are just delicious and for one of the pairings we had a pizza with mushrooms and chestnuts.
Friendly owners. Attentive staff.

The crust is thin and crisp and tastes as good as the bread you get at any fine restaurant. They serve a nice peppery olive oil to drip onto the edges of the crust that is not topped with ingredients.

I had the Diavola pizza, which comes with a peppery soppressata ham, olives and basil. The ingredients were very good, although they could have been a bit more generous with the olives.

I went alone as I was in town for work, and one of the servers made me feel like I should have been with someone, asking if I was meeting someone and if I wanted to eat in, in a manner to suggest that they do not expect single men. Most of the customers were couples, and it did seem like a nice reasonably priced location for a romantic or small social meal. My other server was very pleasant and helpful, and the food is prepared quickly.

They have pretty good wines in addition to the beers.

We have visited a couple of times and have ordered takeout. The pizza is fabulous wood oven baked and authentic Italian. Good selection of wines and salads also. Try the sorbet, very unique presentation Great for a casual dinner w friends and family. A fabulous addition to the neighborhood!

The pizza's were great in every aspect. We all ordered something different and loved everything. Atmosphere was very relaxed and a variety of custumers. Service could have been a little more attentful (forgot drinks and appetizer plates).
