It is so much fun to see the soldiers as you are entering the store. If you are a Muppett's fan you can create your very own muppett to purchase. It is $99, but where else can you get one - no where! My boys loved it.

“FAO candy section is a tourist trap!!”
Reviewed 8 April 2012

I got totally ripped off.. I paid $66 for three Chinese-food-box sized selection of candy. There was no visible price when my kids filled up their boxes but I never expected to be such ridiculously expensive. Candy is not even good quality. same stuff you get in the mall but four times more expensive. big, big, disappointment.

“A little disappointing”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

We had heard so much about the original flagship FAO in NYC, that the new smaller store is a little disappointing. They do still have the "Big" keyboard that the kids can play on, and they will even take their pic and sell it to you.

You might want to stop by if you are in the area, however don't make a special trip.

“Superb”

a great place for kids and adults alike, enjoyed the large piano, pricey $22 for the picture but worth it if travelling with kids. A good selection of toys - bought quite a few !!! good selection of sweets too.

“Love the piano!”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked here because my one year old was exhausted, but I still enjoyed it! It is a wonderful place for kids. The piano is free and there are lots to see and experience in this store for children! My son enjoyed running across the piano and seeing it light up while music was playing. We also did the Harry Potter sorting hat and the train table. Wish we could have keep going longer.
