“A must see..”

We had no idea of the size of central park. We had breakfast around the corner and walked around the park. A must see.

“Meandering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

What a surprise this was, didn't realise how big Central Park actually is. The main purpose was to visit Strawberry Fields, as I am a John Lennon fan, and having a friend as a local guide was wonderful. Even managed a ride in one of the horse drawn carriages. Beautiful ...

We took a 1 hour carriage ride through the park. People are everywhere, but it still felt peaceful and restful. It's a wonderful park

“A Ride in the Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

Our group rented 2 pedicabs for a one-hour tour through Central Park. The drivers offered us a half-price deal since we needed 2 bikes to accommodate our group of 5. (Each bike holds 2-3 people) We thoroughly enjoyed our tour through Central Park with stops at the most popular spots. We were able to get out, take pictures, walk around and get back on the pedicab. A wonderful way to see Central Park, if you are in a hurry and can't spend the whole day walking around.

“Urban wildlife”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

Spend a whole day exploring the entire stretch of Olmstead's wonderful gift to the city. Popular places are at the entry at 5th & 59th, Bethesda Fountain, and Strawberry Fields at Central Park West around the W 72nd St. entrance. More fun are The Rambles and up at the Harlem Meir. Look for owls, a few red tail hawks, plenty of squirrels, and people - great people watching.
