Went Christmas day with my family to see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and it was a perfect way to spend Christmas in New York. An amazing Art Deco Theater totally magical right down to the ladies lounge with original fittings. Make sure you go..

This is a must do the whole place is magical all the art deco take you back when this was open the people entering must have looked and thought they had been magically whisked to where dreams come true, no handles on the outside of the doors so no one could enter if late and the show had started, some west end theaters should do this i think. The whole tour was excellent we were able to go on stage and marvel at how magnificent this Theater is, its vast my wife and daughter do amature dramatics and were just in ore of the whole thing. then back stage to see how the stage hydraulics work still the original system in use today then all round the dressing rooms and apartment on to the stars gallery and meet a real Rockette nice way to spend 1 1/2 hours very fasinating

Visiting is good, a tour is better, Christmas or a holiday show is the best!!

So whatever you can do while in New York, visit Radio City and take a bit of NYC with you as you make memories.

Yanni is coming (not my style) and another concert after we depart so there were no performances while we visited NYC but a stop by RCMH is just part of our visit no matter what!

Enjoy!!

From the moment you see the sign, it gave me chills! I have admired the Rockettes since I was a little girl and to see the Christmas spectacular, was awesome! This is a must see!

Interesting place, it is all about the history of the golden age of a show. Tour was part of the NY pass and we were hurried through at times. Got to meet a RC Rockette which was Ok.
