This Holdiday inn is a very nice, very clean place to stay!! It is very small but I am sure you can expect that with most places in NYC. The breakfast was good and even though it was very busy they kept it well stocked! Staff was friendly and very helpful. The only thing is that the "name" is really not true!! This hotel is NOT in Time Square, it is about 4-5 blocks away, which is not bad but I really was expecting to be in time square!! Parking at the HI is $55.00 a night but they are very helpful to tell you of other places that are cheaper (and they took good care of our car). I would stay here again for sure!!!

Hi Teri! Thanks for the great review! We enjoyed reading your comments and hope that you truly enjoyed your stay with us. We admit that our hotel his not the largest in NYC, but what we lack in size, we make up for in personality! We also acknowledge our title can be a bit misleading because we are NOT centrally located in Times Square proper. We are, however in the Times Square area, which encompasses neighborhoods outside of the center of Times Square. Again, THANK YOU for your generosity in sharing your feedback and we would love to have you stay with us again!

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days,April 23.it was our first time to new York, rooms are a nice size bigger than some hotels, all facilities, even breakfast, which was all inclusive .staff very friendly, free Internet in lobby, even use of printer facility.its located around the corner from times square with subway close by.its located in what they call garment district,so times square isn't in your face all day.i would definitely stay there again, and recommend to any one.

Great hotel, very helpful staff and a very busy hotel due to the location. great facilities, rooms good with also gym facilities next door. Rooms were incorrect initially due to beds but were changed as requested to staff, rooms well presented and tidy. Breakfast that was all inclusive was great with quite a bit of variety on food but not even tables for people although you didn't have to wait very long. lifts slightly annoying as very slow and took forever constantly especially morning times as people looking to go out. all in all would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a generous review of our hotel! We hope that other travelers can benefit from your comments. We apologize for any delays you may have experienced with our elevators or breakfast area. We admit that during the peak hours, there can be a bit of a wait for both, but appreciate your understanding and willingness to tough it out! We are humbled that you recommended us to the Trip Advisor community and hope that you get a chance to stay with us again soon! Safe travels!

Loved the location of the hotel, walking distance from times square and close to the underground train. The hotel's room are small but clean and modern. The brakfast area is a little crowded... that was excpected.

Hello Joan! Thanks for the kind review of our hotel! We’re happy to see that our location was convenient for your activities during your time in NYC. We hope that you were able to enjoy some good weather while you were here : ) We apologize for the congestion in our breakfast area, as it tends to get very busy during peak hours. We do appreciate you doing your research though, so you were able to anticipate this happening. Thanks again for sharing your feedback and we hope to have you stay with us again soon!

Staying in this hotel while in New York was perfect for me and my wife. It is almost in the center of Times Square with everything within walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff (especially Juicy Villanueva) was most helpful and accommodating, and with breakfast free everyday, one gets a very great deal. We will certainly stay in this hotel again the next time we visit the Big Apple. /Peter and Roselle
