Superb service from Gent In a dimly lit, romantic candlelit restaurant- ok for casual dining also. Foie gras duck ravioli (32$ ish) fabulous- my son had 2 full plates. My spaghetti was homemade and delicious- expensive cocktails (18$+) but creative and delicious. Would absolutely look forward to coming back- i love the ambiance. Not rushed- well spaced tables and excellent sincere service from Gent and the maitre di

Smart Italian restaurant with delicious pasta. Pretty expensive
Very dark inside, beyond atmospheric, just not able to see properly!
Also almost missed it outside as signage terrible
Quite loud, I had difficulty hearing friends across the table

We had an incredible dining experience celebrating a birthday at Scarpetta. Everything from the cocktails at the bar, to the table, the server, the ambience, and the FOOD - just WOW! A must when you are in the Meatpacking district.

We were staying in Chelsea on a recent business trip and Scarpetta was just around the corner. It is a very nice, warm place. Service was great and our meal was very good. I would recommend it if in the area.

The vibe at Scarpetta is very romantic.. perfect for a date or intimate gathering. The food is delicious too. We got the octopus as a starter (the dish was slightly smaller than we had anticipated but still yum). My husband got the duck ravioli and I got the Taglierini with clams and caviar. Overall, very cool spot and we’ll definitely be back! We highly recommend it :)
