“Great hotel, close to time square.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2013 via mobile

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in march. When got to the hotel to drop off the bags, we managed to check into our room early. Room where good, standard size. with good view of Empire State Building if you have a street view street from the window. The hotel is close to time square ( which took about 5 min to walk). Te breakfast in the hotel could not fault with a variety of cooked food and fruit on offer to you. If ever go back toy New York, would defiantly stay at this hotel again.

Second time I have stayed here.Short walking distance to Penn Station and subway stop on the same block. Very clean and quiet. I arrived early and they had a room ready. You can get anywhere in New York City from here. I will stay here next time.

We have stated in this hotel before and have had an excellent experience due to the location, comfort, free wi-fi, cost-benefit, warm reception and professionalism of the hotel employees.
This time we had the same excellent experience but were even more satisfied with a prompt answer from the manager in my resquest for earlie check-in.
We thanked very much the manager and let him know his attitude made a great difference in our day, after a long trip (10-hour flight) as well as in our overall trip. This will make us to be even more loyalty to Hilton Chain and HHonor. We always recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The room itself was very comfortable, with a king bed and free Wi-Fi, but I do remember they have la...

Great location! I attended a conference at the Javits Center and chose this hotel because of the location. I was able to walk to the conference each day - just 8 blocks down the street.
Rooms were much better than I expected - great bed, pillows, sheets, bathroom, towels, etc. Extremely clean.
Complimentary delicious coffee! It was expensive due to the Big East Basketball tournament and St. Patrick's Day celebrations/marathon.
My only complaint that the front desk staff at check in did not know about the shuttle bus route, where the Javits center was (this surprised me as it is right down the street & this is a conference hotel) and they had trouble getting my Hilton Honors record. Also at checkout they had trouble splitting the bill on two credit cards - it took 10 minutes on Sunday morning when we gave our credit cards to them late Saturday night - checkout should have only taken 2 minutes and not 10. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to convention/trade show travelers.

This property is in one of the best locations in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. It is near all the shops that New York is famous for, including Macy's, "The Largest Department Store in the World." So, if you're a shopper, this is an excellent place to stay.

Overall, my experience here was fantastic! The reception staff were very helpful and efficient in the check-in process. My room was super-clean and comfortable and the bed was marvelous - I slept like a baby. If shopping is not your thing, then there is plenty else to see, such as the Empire State Building and Times Square which are a short walk away, and other sites that New York is famous for.

Don't feel like walking? There's a subway station only a few feet away from the entrance of the hotel which can take you anywhere....and taxis abound as well.

This is a great place in a great location!

IWe stayed 1 week in this hotel and it was a great stay! Our room was on the 3rd floor. It had a very confortable bed, a good size bathroom and we didn't hear any noise from ouside. As Hilton Gold members we get the breakfast included and it was realy good with a great variety of food.
The location is perfect! The subway is at 1 minute from the hotel door and as is so central you can walk to the major NY attraction as Times Square, Empire State Building, Broadway Theaters....

We stayed in a corner room on the 30th floor for 5 nights. The views of the ESB and Manhattan rooftops were beautiful and really made the room. The room itself was spacious enough for the two of us, the bathroom was small. The bed was very uncomfortable though despite being able to adjust the firmness/softness; it felt like we were laying on a bed of concrete. The room was also very, very noisy- we heard people talking, yelling, slamming doors. This coupled with the hard beds made for restless nights.

Expect to wait upwards of 10-15 minutes for the elevator in the mornings- just ridiculous.

The location was great- just a few short minutes to Times Square and some of the best restaurants in the City. Macy's is right across the street for shopaholics.

Breakfast is not included in the rate and could not imagine paying $16.99/person to eat at the hotel. We ate at a lovely diner a few blocks from the hotel and had a nice breakfast for the cost of one person eating at the hotel.

The Hampton Inn is right next door and think we will give it a try the next time we are in the City.
