Owner description: The financial heartbeat of the United States, Wall Street is home to the New York Stock Exchange, where visitors can witness the frenetic and wild pace of stock trading.

It is said that the name of this street comes from a wooden fence on the northern boundary of the New Amsterdam settlement, built to protect first colonists (Dutch) against Native Americans, pirates, and the British. Now it is a a figure of speech for the financial markets of the United States as a whole (since a lot of most economically powerful financial companies in the world have its offices at or near the Wall Street).

You have to go in inclement weather or very early in the morning if you want to get a photo without a lot of people photo bombing you. It is what it is, but none the less, we were happy to have seen this statue up close and personal as we have through the years in the movies.

Highly recommended. You can get great pictures with the Bull, front and rear!! Wall Street is brilliant with really tall buildings and the NY Stock Exchange in between all of it.

I love to see the sights and people on Wall Street. The bull is a place that lots of people stop. Best time to visit if you want some pictures without a lot of tourists is early on Saturday or Sunday.
