Extensive menu with a nice selection of British version curries in the last page of the menu.

Not cheap, but reasonably priced. We had lamb dhansak and a vegetable bhalu - both well spiced and tasty. Somosa was our starter and I was a little disappointed in the crispness of the pastry.

Rice was clumped together and let the presentation down somewhat.

The physical facility needs a makeover. Missing wall at the entrance, dirty and broken light switch by the door which clanged every time it shut, and tired decor.

That said, friendly staff and good food will make for a return visit.

I am very sorry, but water was leaking right top of our head and they even don’t care about that . Also feel like they have no interest at all in customer or services either order from customers.

I like the food here. The servers are nice but look at the servers name on the bill. Disgusting. Not sure what’s going on but we find this to be appalling. This review has to be 100 words? Not sure why.

As a NYer transplanted to New Orleans, I have enjoyed a lot of good food but one cuisine that New Orleans lacks an abundance of is really good Indian food. (Well, also Chinese). So for my twins 15th birthday, since we were in NYC, we booked this place and absolutely pigged out. Memorable dishes— tandoori shrimp, sag paneer, mango chicken, black Dahl, chicken birayni, garlic naan, samosa chaat, Indian rice pudding. All delicious. We had more that I am embarrassed to say I can’t recall the names of— we ate family style and one person did all the ordering. The restaurant itself is casual, a little small and a bit loud. Attentive service. A definite winner for Indian food.
