Great location for Soho area, decent, clean and quiet. Smart and elegant architectural design of the building itself. The grand glass wall windows with the black metal mullions blend in so well with Soho and give out great views of the city.
But what is it with the dogs (art work) everywhere? and they don't all look happy.
Moth painting here and a dead cow there...
There's a kind of underlying sadness, lifelessness, in many of the design items scattered across the hotel. The sweet, but clueless lady at the front desk seemed to contribute to that atmosphere.
The movie theatre is definitely a plus, and the "drawing room" with self-service bar, warm and cozy. However, what made my stay memorable, was being in the company of the most wonderful Lady.More
