My wife and I just spent a 4 night long weekend at the InterContinental New York Times Square after staying at a Grand Central Station hotel for business earlier in the week.
We’re very frequent travelers with Platinum status at a few chains including 3-4 weeks a year to NYC. We loved many things about this fairly new IHG hotel and will definitely be back.
The location just off Times Square at 44th and 8th was central for everything we did throughout NYC via easily accessible taxis and the subway to more local haunts, or just walking around Times Square and midtown NYC.
We were upgraded to a beautiful corner room with a wide open unobstructed view through large windows across midtown west NYC to the Hudson River. We loved the king bed mattress and pillows. We loved the bathroom rainfall shower. And we really appreciated the warm, friendly, helpful staff, especially Darlene Demorizi at the front desk. Thanks Darlene !
We didn’t eat at the Todd English restaurant, but spent some time at the bar for drinks one afternoon. Net, a very enjoyable stay. We will be back again for sure. Thanks IHG.More
