We were a party of 14 celebrating a surprise birthday. JP our server was fantastic and kept our drinks flowing all evening, but the food was the real star of the evening! From the amazing amuse bouche, kind of like a mini cream puff stuffed with cream cheese with everything bagel seasoning on top, OMG I wanted a dozen more. Served with a delicious broth for sipping. A 10. Next the delicious fresh baked rolls with herbed butter. We were served family style which was great as we were able to sample everything. The appetizers were barbecued oysters, roasted carrot salad & my personal favorite the mushroom cavatelli! Each bite sensational! Next we were served chili Lobster with Texas toast, chicken under a brick, & the tomahawk steak. Wow, wow, & wow!! We brought a birthday cake but the restaurant also served us some small bite pastries & incredible hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies that had molten chocolate in the center, fabulous! The service was first class, we were pampered all evening! A wonderful experience in a very cool space with some of the most incredible food. All 14 of us were in agreement that the food was EXCELLENT!

I have to say this is the top meal I have had in NYC and probably one of the top five meals I have had traveling around the world. Very reasonably priced with a very cool rustic vibe and a wonderful staff. This is a place for foodies who can understand that the smallest ingredient can change everything. Don't get me wrong, it is also a place for anyone that wants a great meal, good service and a fun night out. But little things like adding the small sechuan button flower grown in front of the restaurant, changes the whole experience of what fresh fish Hiramasa can be.This appetizer is truly a taste bud experience. The smoked oysters or "smoking hot little guns" as the chef calls them were delicious and could only come from a creative mind. The Halibut with cauliflower or probably any of the other entrees should not be missed. The desserts were just the right size to share and the banana infused Jameson Whiskey is definitely something to try. When you love what you do it shows and you could definitely see this in the Chef and all the employees in the front of the house. I only hope I can return again soon to experience Marc Forgione and his creative farm to table cuisine.

One of the best restaurants in the city. Atmosphere is ultra cool but not stuffy.
Innovative menu with a hip overtone.
The Lobster and Chicken dishes are very special and so good. Pork Chop it right up there at the top as well.
Dining at the bar is our preference, table seating is nice too.
Go and enjoy!

Very cool vibe at this place. Laid Back but buzzing. Dim lighting adds a nice charm. Waiters very professional and friendly. Food was all fantastic. Nice vegan options you are looking for that. I however thoroughly enjoyed the foi gras.

Arranged a party of 15 women business owners - they made it a piece of cake. It was a blast and the food was spectacular. Wine match was unsurpassed. Go, laugh, be merry. Hopefully you'll get to see and thank Marc like we did. Hats off!
