We stayed in this hotel in Januari 2012. The looks are great, the room are cool. There is a free breakfast (muffins and coffee) just to start you up. Nice bar with great cocktails. There is a asian restaurant inside too. We didnt eat there.

As i mentioned the rooms are cool. The staff is helpfull. Contact the hotel if you want a taxi from the airport. Its a nice car with a helpfull taxidriver.

We would go again there.

The hotel is very well located, very close distance to Times Square. Walking distance to many places in Manhattan. The room I stayed in has a beautifull free view from NYC. I could see many buildings including New Yorker and the Empire State. It's all about being young (even though I'm getting older...). Beautifull people from all over the world everywhere in the hotel. Staff helpfull. Never mind for the fact that the room is small nor that it doesn't have walls between bedroom and bathroom. (The most common complain I previously read from other guests...) It doesn't really matter at all, unless you're buying an assembled delta wing or don't feel confortable with the person who stays with you in the room, if anyone.
I really reccomend Claudio's Pizza, about 500 feet from the hotel, just crossing 42nd street, same side. Best pizza outside Brazil, ever!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a good window's view. It's pretty good!

After booking this quite cheaply I was concerned but you don't have to be- Yotel is an experience not just a hotel. It is ultra modern, clean, classy, lively, fun and near all the action. It won't be like anywhere you stay before. Yes the rooms are cosy but theres enough room. Yes the bathrooms aren't that private but the showers great and we saw the funny side. The free muffins at breakfast and coffee in the galleys were great for brekkie on the go (I recommend the cranberry & choc ones..). On fri/sat/sun the place is transformed into a lively bar and sex and the city style club as you walk through the 'four' foyer but its so clever how you dont hear a peep from your hotel room. Don't forget the drinks happy hour every day 5-7, wine for $4!

Yotel is a simply a few blocks from the subway and times square (walking distance from broadway shows) and if you want a local night out please try the 44&X restaurant in hells kitchen- the best food in NYC. A fab place to stay.

Purchased an overnight visit through Groupon for my husband and I to do a getaway weekend. Very clean, contemporary hotel. The Yobot was really cool and interesting to watch. Rooms are small, bed IS very uncomfortable, as stated in other reviews. If this would be an IKEA store as a hotel, this would be it. An FYI, there are three Cadillac Escalades parked out front that are for the use of people staying at the hotel. Something we were unaware of. Charges start at $25 and up depending on where it is you would like to go. Good price through Groupon, although I don't believe we would visit again as I would wish to stay in a more roomier room!

Room Tip: I understood the corner cabin rooms were a little roomier, although there were none available when w...

Our stay at the yotel was amazing the hotel room was lovely and warm, spotlessly clean, very quiet considering how noisy it is outside and plenty big enough for the two of us.The beds were very firm but comfy just what you need after a full day exploring new york.Staff were very friendly and approachable, always willing to help in any way.The complimentary breakfast was muffins and coffee but my own choice would be fresh fruit juice as an alternative to coffee but was nice anyway. The cooked breakfast was really nice and very filling a little pricey but your on holiday treat yourself.Overall a very enjoyable and memorable stay would definately stay again.Thankyou for making us feel so welcome.

Tiny "cabins", movable bed/ couch is creative and convenient use of space, fine for sleeping but wouldn't want to spend any waking hours in such a tiny space! Very clean, nice rain shower and heated towel bar. Food at the restaurant was not very good, but fast and convenient.

Fun, clean, high-tech hotel in New York, a few blocks from Times Square. Highly suggested!

Rooms are new, smartly configured.

The only drawback (and the reason why I'm not giving 5 stars): the breakfast. Muffins are good for one day, but at some point you get tired of it. A la carte is available but it's pricey (although the quality of the food they cook is quite high).
