We stayed here during an August stay to New York.
Firstly, walk out of the hotel and turn right - Times Square is about 50m in front of you, excellent location!
Hotel looks nice and new, even standard room is fairly good size with sofa and TV in the room.
One thing to mention, if you are on a lower floor on the inside edge, the air con fans are very loud which you can hear coming from outside! Takes a bit of work to take your mind off the noise when trying to sleep.
The breakfast was okay, decent continental style. Nice that you can make a coffee in disposable cup to take with you. This room is rather small (same room as used for afternoon drinks) so you may have to wait for a seat to become available.
The drinks in the afternoon (free) were a good touch, nice afternoon beer or wine and snacks before getting changed in the evening.
Reception very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is kind of like an annex to the Millennium, so on the last day (they kindly kept our luggage in a room until we left - and also ordered us a private cab) I asked for a changing room, but had to go through to the Millennium and up to the gym to get changed.
Overall great hotel, would love to go back one day, albeit staying on a higher floor (away from the air-con generators) !
