Daughter and I stopped in for a noon time meal while exploring the area. Came across V(iv) and stepped on in. Greeted and seated right away. Lots of take out and delivery activity going on and a few other people at tables. Ordered lunch specials of Pad See Eiu with beef and Green Curry with chicken. Both were excellent. Kind of wish quality places like this were near-by our home. Splurged on speciality drinks and enjoyed the apps of dumplings and calamari (they had no spring rolls available). Very nice place. Highly recommend it. In and out in less than 45 minutes, very satisfied.

Tasty tom yum soup and red curry dishes, served in suitable and filling portion sizes. Great service and family friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

I was looking for somewhere to eat on E.34th street, having been unable to find a sushi place that showed up on several online maps. Spotted Viv & decided to give it a try. Great decision! Service was excellent - they were more than happy to point out that it was still happy-hour, & even reminded me when it was close to ending. Food was very good - had the 'roti' to start, which was different from my many times in the Caribbean, but the chicken curry sauce that came with it was very nice. Had the green curry for main course, with brown rice (so nice to have a choice of several types of rice). Really good. And the bill was a fraction of typical dinners in NYC. Would like to come back sometime to try their other dishes.

The Tom Kha lacked a serious amount of salt and the appetizers for the lunch menu couldn't consists of a few bites. The option for soup on the lunch menu don't allow you to switch in the Tom Kha for one of the soups listed. I do feel like the portions are rather small. But the presentation is on point (especially the way the Thai iced tea is made). I liked this place. The food was good (could be better), the service was great, and this place was super clean. I just wish the portions were a little bigger.
