Description: Opened in 1994, Nicola Marzovilla's warm and welcoming restaurant has been a favorite for 15 years for those in search of hearty, delicious Italian specialties. Chef Patti Jackson's celebrated menu draws on the regional cuisine of the Marzovillas' homeland, Puglia. Nicola's mother, Dora, prepares hand-rolled fresh pastas daily. The restaurant is famed for its all-Italian wine list (expertly selected by Marzovilla), and the adjoining Enoteca offers lighter food and by-the-glass choices. I Trulli is a popular destination all-year round: diners can sit by the glow of the main room's rustic fireplace in winter, while in the warmer months are treated to the lush splendor of one of Manhattan's finest outdoor garden spaces.

A really popular restaurant recommended to us by the hotel. Home made Italian food which was everything you want from an Italian Restaurant. Busy, noisy and bustling. Great food and wine. Would go again for sure.

Overall, a decent traditional Italian restaurant with good service. While kind of noisy, a good group dinner

Our favorite Italian on the East side. The service is amazing; they anticipate your every need at this old-school Italian where the pasta is homemade every day. The meatball starter is a must and melts in your mouth. My family loves the rabbit ragu and begs to return for it every time we are in the city. For me, the Orechiette with Broccoli is a favorite. And, finishing with a lovely Italian dessert is a must. Excellent wine list and outdoor covered patio in summer months.

I Trulli gets its name from the traditional homes in the bucolic Puglia region of Italy, famous for its tomatoes, olives and of course beaches. Luckily, the restaurant doesn't attempt to duplicate the hackneyed "rustic charm" one often sees in myriad "traditional" Italian restaurants in New York City. Instead I Trulli settles into a classy, charming calm. The service was unobtrusive but attentive. I ordered the farro salad and a mahi mahi fillet. The salad was rich and flavorful but not overpowering, while the fish was succulent and delectable despite being pan-fried. Despite being around the block from my office I had never visited I Trulli until I saw it on Seated. I will make sure to give it serious consideration for my next work lunch or dinner.

Great local Italian restaurant with some very nice/different options. The orecchiette w/rabbit ragu was amazing, the Pesto ravioli were light and very tasty. Service was good as they were patient explaining the menu options. This particular visit was VERY loud
