Great place to duck in on a rainy day for a hearty lunch. The chilli Burrito was really good and the service is friendly and quick. Recommend!

Got into town pretty late and needed a bite to eat. Lupe's was right down the street from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I tried a Jalapeno Margarita, and the waiter let me try some of the jalapeno infused tequila when I asked how spicy it would be. The drink, while spicy and on the smaller side for a margarita, was delicious. My daughter and I ordered soft tacos - chicken for her and beef for me. It was so tasty! We both loved our meals. The beans and rice that came with the tacos were equally as delicious. We will definitely go back to this little gem! 4 stars not 5 only because it took a while for the food to come and the service was kind of slow at the end when we wanted our check, but we still loved it!

This place is a gem. Not fancy, but good straightforward Mexican food. There are some interesting items on the menu, and the service is friendly and efficient. The place can get quite busy.

This place was busy every time we went by on a recent trip to NYC, so we decided to give it a try. First time in, just had chips/salsa and a beer at the bar, talked to the bar tender, and watched the food coming out of the kitchen. That was enough for us to come back for a full meal and we were not disappointed. Great service, homemade salsa, family recipes. Chilli rellanos were plump, fresh, packed with cheese. Enchiladas are excllent, no skimping on the filling whether beef or chicken. Chips are ordinary but salsa is excellent. Fast and efficient service. Great prices. Highly recommend! The place is small, but tables do turn over quickly. Some seating outdoors on the sidewalk on nice days. Brisk delivery business as well.
