One of the reasons we love returning to New York is because of the Archer Hotel. The hospitality provided by the staff, and especially Michelle the GM is spectacular. She even remembered which room we stayed in during our first trip, and put us in the same room this time around. What a lovely touch!

We love the nightly treats and beautiful room. The location is wonderful as well.

Than you for a great stay!

This hotel experience was exceptional in every way. Paul and Scott at the front desk made us feel like royalty, even though we only had a basic room. One of them must have overheard that we were celebrating a birthday because complimentary champagne magically appeared in our room! The room was tiny but exceptionally well appointed, quiet, and the decor was hip. We booked another stay before we left - we can't wait to go back.

Our well designed room while small, was sleek, chic, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. We were surprised how quiet it was. No street noice! Comfortable king bed, comforter & pillows
insure a good night's rest. Bathroom was a jewel with sleek contemporary Kohler fixtures, nice amnesties & complementary robes. Staff, including maids, are professional & helpful. Archer is our home away from home when we visit New York City.

Room Tip: Rooms small but exceedingly well laid out & appointed. Suitcases slide under foot of bed. In a...

Room functional with a great view. You can open the window if desired. Beds are very comfortable :) Complimentary bottle of water. Excellent location, walking distance to all main attractions. Cozy hotel, especially nice in the cold Winter! Would be nice if the snacks for purchase in the room included some gluten free options and the restaurant needs to have gluten free bread available for breakfast -breakfast is not the same if you don't have toast. Evan and Scott were very professional and friendly at the front desk :) Would stay again if I wanted to be in the same area in NYC. Easy walk to Penn Station.

Perfect hotel for our first trip to New York, we were there for my birthday and they had a beautiful cake waiting for us in the room and a birthday wish written in chocolate ( what more could you want !) room was compact but very clean and had everything we needed including slippers, robes and a great supply of tea and coffee , really handy location for sightseeing , amazing rooftop cocktail bar with views over NY, staff really friendly, helpful and informative on where to go and how to get there

I stayed for just one night at the Archer to celebrate my mom's 71st birthday with a weekend in the city. The Archer was a gem and I can't wait to return with my family. The staff were friendly, helpful, and absolutely on top of their game - from the bellman to reception - even security at the rooftop bar was friendly and nice to talk to! The room was well outfitted and there were many special touches - little notes accompanied fresh cookies, special books chosen by the hotel staff, and candies in the room at check-in all made you feel truly welcome. We stay several times a year in NYC and the Archer is really a special place. The entire hotel was well kept, clean, and beautiful in design. The rooftop bar was small but inviting and the view of the Empire State was breathtaking. The location could not be beat - steps from Bryant Park, a few blocks from the Times Square area and a 15 min walk to Saks on 5th/Rockefeller Center. I wish we'd had time to try Charlie Palmer Steak - but we'll save that for next time!

Room Tip: We had a double double and the room was definitely boutique sized but not cramped and really decorat...
