The Best Bar in the West Village With the most whiskeys and the Best Musicians hands down. A real taste of old skool new york, hidden away in a mohagany paradise. I have been coming here so long, that they gave me a job!

Come by on a monday night for the T-band with Blues powerhouse's Saron Crenshaw and Junior Mack

Dark and bluesy, this 2nd floor venue hits the right notes for a moody night out. We're senior citizens of the Boomer sort, so our night was an early one, but it was satisfying. Sparse crowd on a Wednesday night, but the singer was engaged and gave us a variety of original pieces and covers. Server suggested an excellent bourbon which added to my pleasure. Very dark place, literally: hard to see (or was it my ageing eyes?) We didn't stay for the second act, but people were coming in greater numbers after 9 pm. This is a fine taste of the Village in more ways than one.

Fabulous bar to listen to some great blues playing. We were fortunate enough to catch SaRon Crenshaw playing an acoustic set of songs mostly from his new album. I believe he has a regular set here each week. Definitely worth catching.

As others have said this bar has a great selection of whiskeys from across the US and around the world. However there’s no food to speak of except packets of nuts which was a little disappointing.

Best bar we visited in NYC. Music was great and the staff were too. Definitely worth a visit if you like blues music.

An authentic blues bar in Greenwich village. You can go to the early 7 pm show or arrive around 920 for the 10 pm main show.

They always have fantastic live bands. Great music and a fun night. !
