I stayed at the Ivy Terrace earlier this year & I can't speak highly enough of this great place - the quality of the rooms, each a different theme, the location, the facilities & food in the fridge & the friendliness of Vinessa & Jeff. Staying at the Ivy Terrace made my visit to NYC so much more enjoyable - my only regret is there isn't an Ivy Terrace in many more cities! Highly recommended.

I have stayed at The Ivy Terrace twice now. In the Greenwich Room. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this B&B. It is convient to everything I want to do when I return for a visit to my home town, NYC. Shopping, restaurants, museums and people watching galore. If you are wondering where to stay on your trip to NYC, this is the place. But make your reservations as early as possible because it does fill up.

Room Tip: I have only stayed in the Greenwich. I did go into one of the rooms in the back just to see it and...

What a gem tucked in New York city. You feel as though you are in a comfortable hideaway with all the amenities. My stay was remarkable and I will be back again and again. Three cheers for thr Ivy Terrace.

Room Tip: Depends on how many people are coming with you. All are great.

Some friends found the Ivy Terrace for us to celebrate someone's 40th birthday weekend, and we weren't sure what to expect. But we could not be happier! We've stayed in hotels, time shares, and VRBO in Manhattan, but the Ivy Terrace will be our preference when traveling as a couple in the future. The rooms are very big for NYC (we got to see our friend's room as well, which had a HUGE terrace overlooking 58th street). The stocked fridge (eggs, milk, butter, english muffins, yogurt, OJ) was perfect for us to cook a simple breakfast. The location was great, a simple walk to Central Park, and close to 2nd and 3rd which we normally wouldn't have checked out. I can't say enough about the entire experience. FYI, we stayed in the Greenwich Room, which I still can't believe how big it was. Thanks again, Jeff and Vinessa!!

Room Tip: There's a bit of street noise at the front of the building, but after a typical day walking arou...

Thanks so much for telling the world about your experience at Ivy Terrace. We do take pride in the warm atmosphere that we aim to provide. For the record, each our our rooms are approx 450 square ft. with some being larger, perfect for extended stays. In a city famous for very small rooms, this is a welcome alternative
We are so happy that you felt at home during your stay with us !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Terrace. The location was excellent and the unserviced nature of the place provided real flexibility. The room is a good size and well equipped.

Overall, a real home from home.
