Excellent hotel, good value, the rooms were good size and clean. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, even suggested a fabulous place to get pizza - Saluggis. The hotel is just far enough away from Times Square and gives you the real vibe of New York City. Minutes from Canal Street and subway station on the corner, very convenient to get around.
Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again on our next visit to NYC.

Small hotel, small rooms, but furnished well. Lobby is small and cramped feeling, elevators slow.

Staff was hit or miss, some nice and some not. Didn't get greeting some of the staff when you walk in or out as you must pass the front desk. No one to help with bags or anything like that. A bit disappointing for a 'Hilton.'

Microwave and fridge were pluses though.

Coffee / tea / cookies in the evening.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I was disappointed that your stay was "Hit or Miss". Hospitality is what our business is built on. Guest feedback is the best way for us to improve and we will be using your comments in daily training to improve. Please feel free to contact me directly in future if your travels bring you back to Tribeca.

I was recently here for a business trip and based on other reviews decided to try it out. First, compared to other hotel rooms in NYC - especially midtown - I was delighted that this room had a coffee maker, microwave, AND a small refrigerator! what a delight. In addition there was free coffee downstairs in the morning and each night they had cookies for a snack! The room was not huge but it was nicely appointed with a desk and a bed that was very comfortable. It was a sort of adjustable firmness bed - but it never got really soft. Still it was fine for sleeping. Our window was a view onto another building about 15 feet away, but with semi sheer panels, we could still get in light and didn't feel like we were in a cave.

the other thing that really stood out about this hotel was the front desk staff. They were wonderful! They were cheery and willing to answer any and all questions - in fact one of them walked out the front door on 2 occasions with us to make sure we got pointed in the right direction!

I will definitely stay here next time and highly recommend it!

We chose Tribeca for our hotel this time because we wanted to explore a different part of the city. Our last visit focused on midtown, which was lovely, but we knew there was SO much more to NY than that. This Hilton is fantastic. I can't stress the boutique-y feel of it, especially for a big chain like Hilton. The staff was so amazingly friendly and so ready to help us find a good place for breakfast (the Cupping Room was lovely) or navigate the subways around the city and they never missed bidding us a good day when we left in the morning or welcoming us when we returned at night. The location of the hotel is cool, a couple of blocks from the fabulous shopping in Soho, a few trainstops in any direction to the financial district, up to midtown, over to Greenwich or East Village. And, like the other Hilton we stayed at on 35th, this Hilton has an ACE station right outside the door and the NRQW lines are just a couple of blocks away. I will say that this location (not to be confused with the hotel itself) is less shiny that midtown. If you have young kids or if you aren't comfortable in a grittier urban spot, this might not be for you. That said, my husband, 9 year old son and I had a great time....we rode the subways the entire time and never had a problem (though we're pretty "aware", too). The hotel itself was very clean, well designed, and cozy (especially because we visited in December and there was always a fire burning in the lobby fireplace). One thing I especially appreciated was the fact that they went through the trouble of bringing in a Santa for the kids. He sat in front of the Christmas tree in the lobby was was waiting for any kids to come sit on his lap, and they got a sweet treat. The staff even took a gorgeous picture of our son and Santa and gave it to us later that day. Just brilliant attention and hospitality by the entire staff. I would love to give this hotel an excellent for sleep quality, but let's be real...this is NY, we had a city facing room, and the 6th floor is as high as it gets. Our room was spotless each day, we didn't hear our neighbors, and the restaurant downstairs was great for nights when we our legs were done walking but our stomachs were starving; it had good beer and good food. (There is also a Subway one block away if your kids ever require a simple sandwich, like ours :)) In short, when we return to NY we will probably stay here again. I liked the chill atmosphere of this hotel, the super cool staff, and the location. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you require silence you might consider an interior room. With only 6 floors, the city view rooms...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review! I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. Our location is great. With convenient transportation we are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of midtown yet still so close. Mentioning the staff means alot! Every member of our team takes pride in providing excellent service. I will be sure to share your comments with them. The day with Santa was fun! The picture of your son with Santa came out great. Come back and visit again! We look forward to welcoming you!

We were excited to stay over for my Birthday but were truly disappointed. The staff was horribly rude giving an attitude when asked any questions. They went out of their way to treat us like second class citizens. It's a shame it had a lot of potential.
