The iroquois has 3 great things: top location, top staff (friendly and professional) and a charming feeling. There's really not much to complain here and I would totally recommend it and also come back. It just feels nice to have an intimate boutique style hotel in the middle of NYC.

I would also like to recommend the restaurant triomphe associated with the iroquois (it was the best restaurant we've been to in NYC), so good we went even twice.

Also worth a recommendation is the little bar "the Lantern's Keep" which is located within the hotel. They serve very delicious and professionaly mixed drinks and it's quite an intimate atmosphere (we saw Michael Emerson there).

So all in all this is just an extremely nice package that really made our NYC special!

Was here for 4 days with my girlfriend. We both loved the place. Big, comfy beds, cabin-like feel to the room but with all the amenties, an old black wrought iron staircase right outside our window where we could sneak cigarettes. May be my favorite hotel in New York.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a staircase

The Iroquois was a phenomenal hotel. It had a good location (two blocks away from time square) extremely friendly staff fantastic service and cozy rooms. Every day your corner of your bed gets turned and they leave a card with the weather on it for the next day. The concierges, Sergio and Vanessa, were amazingly helpful with whatever you needed. I would defiantly stay here again!

My family recently stayed at The Iroquois for our first trip to New York. The location was incredible - a short walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Bill, our consierge went out of his way to make our vacation a great success.

This hotel is well located in Midtown, a few doors up from the Algonquin. It is an attractive old-style building and the two room suite we had was excellent. It even had windows that opened which allowed for the sounds of the city to lull us to sleep! No breakfast was provided but you are in New York! There are lots of diners and cafes around and there is a grocery store around the corner on 6th Ave where you can stock up on supplies. It is a couple of blocks away from the subway. The staff were friendly and helpful. We all really liked it!

I have stayed at the Iriquios in NYC several times, not only with just my husband, but with my mom for a girls trip. I would not stay anywhere else. I love the inviting & cozy lobby with library attached, the SPOTLESS rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, outstanding service and convenient location to Times Square and surrounding areas. We were just there with our 3 children for Spring Break and they even said they wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! Well done Iriquois!

Room Tip: Not a bad room in the entire building.
