“Great walking, running, biking path with great views”

Hats off to Arkansas and Little Rock for this wonderful paved path over the Arkansas River. You can walk, ride or bike all the way across the river on this bridge. The water was high and flowing very fast, so at first it gave you somewhat of an eerie feeling when you looked straight down. The path is clearly marked for bikers and runners, and I experienced good etiquette by the bikers alerting you of their presence as they came up behind you. There are trails right along the river as well, that go for miles. Some construction work at the dam was going on, so there was a barge and construction workers to watch as well. Only had time to walk about 1/2 way across - maybe next time will go all the way across to North Little Rock.

“Great walking / biking trails!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2012

The area along the river is really first class. There's something like a 12 mile circle that winds alongside the river. A portion of the Little Rock side does in fact go through the town, and isn't quite as nice or as safe, but the North Little Rock side is generally just wandering trails. It's a great place to walk, run or ride.

“A lovely, quiet park like atmosphere”

A pleasant place to walk across the river. It is dog friendly and there are ample bags available for doggie necessity issues.

“Great place to walk/run & bike.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

The BDB area is an ideal place to walk, run or bike. There are several options of routes to take so your scenery can change up from day to day or week to week depending on how often you go. There are also several options as to where to park; the North Little Rock side, the Little Rock side or at Two Rivers Park which leads to the BDB. You can change it up so it never gets boring - which is very nice! It is definitely worth a visit.

A great place to walk - kids especially love the venture across the big bridge.
