I guess, we do get what we pay for. We were gonna stay at this place for 2 weeks, but we just stayed the one week coz we had already paid. Apparently, no room is NON-SMOKING! We have two children under 4..our baby is only 2 months old. The room we stayed at looked nothing like the pictures they have posted. I can honestly say that it's the most disgusting place we had ever stayed at. One of the mattresses have this God-awful stain, it looked like some bled to death on it. I showed the manager and they didn't do anything til the 3rd day. My husband had to go to Walmart to get us pillows and sheets, because I refused to put our kids on the disgusting sheets and mattress they have. The room definitely reeked of smoke. We checked out and move down the road at the ramada..a bit more expensive, but surely worth the money.

Room tip: Pay a bit more for a better place.

Intown suites is a great valve for short term stay! In El Paso for 6 months for work and didn't want to get stuck in an apartment lease. All in all not to bad, would like to see newer upgrades. Then again this is a hotel not my house........double bed in my room with a very hard mattress. Go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper for $100 and now not bad.

I moved halfway across the country for a job. The last thing I wanted to do was plunk down over a grand for a site unseen apartment. The best option was a long term stay hotel. I researched and read the reviews. I was a bit afraid of this place b/c of what I had read. Let me be clear-this is not the Hilton. HOWEVER, it is more than acceptable. Yes, the room is small. But it is clean and bug free. The A/C is super and keeps the room very comfortable. The kitchenette is tiny, but what do you expect? It's not a true apartment. Two burner electric stove, microwave and apartment sized refrigerator. All very clean and in excellent working order. The bathroom does not have a tub which is not a problem for me.
Some things I have heard complained about:
*You only get one roll of toilet paper.-True, but so what? Buy a 4 pack at Wal-Mart for $2 and deal with it. Besides, I'd rather use what I am used to than the scratchy institutional standards.
*You get two towels and two washcloths that you can keep. They are thin and scratchy.-Again, so what? Bring your own or hit up Wal-Mart again.
These two "problems" are pretty petty considering the value of a motel room with a kitchenette. Being able to store and cook your own food is a huge savings and more than makes up for the other issues.

If there is anything I personally would complain about, it is the bed. It is way too firm for my liking. There were also two thin pillows with it and it has no blanket, just a fitted sheet, top sheet and quilt. But like I said above, so what? I bought two more pillows from wally world. And it's hot here-why do you need more than a top sheet and a quilt? I will just have to get used to the bed as it beats sleeping on the floor!

This is not meant to be a snarky review, but I can see where it's kind of reading like that. Truly, I just wanted to express that this isn't a bad place. It is a godsend for someone like me who had limited options and funds.

I would 100% recommend InTown Suits at El Paso.

Room tip: There is an elevator which makes access to the top floors easier, especially when you are moving in/out and hauling groceries!
