I stayed here when I was traveling from Dallas to phoenix. The motel is conveniently located next to I-10 which creates a little noise in the room, but not too bad. I selected the motel because of the price point and the convenience since it was a quick overnight stop. The motel is old, but has been remodeled. It is an interesting blend of an old motel that has been updated to attempt to make it more upscale. The grounds throughout the area between the two wings of the motel have been landscaped nicely with granite and new trees and shrubs. The pool has new deck furniture. The rooms have a kitchen with a pretty big refrigerator and a microwave. The TV reception is good and the channels are generous for the price point. The bedding is nice and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom has been improved with nice tile on the floor and a fiberglass shell in the shower/bath that should been much cleaner than the old moldy tiles you usually find in a motel of this age.
The office is bright and cheery as is the somewhat small breakfast area. The breakfast is a bit disappointing with a range of hot and cold items, but the quality is below average.
Overall, it is fine for a cheap overnight stop as long as your breakfast expectations are not very high.More
