We came here with six guys on a trip down the Bethlehem for a Lehigh Wrestling match. Here are my takeaways at the restaurant.
1) We had about a ten to 15 minute wait to get our table even though we had reservations at 7:30, but the girls in the front were pleasant and made it an easy wait.
2) The service was there right away to get our water filled and drink orders in and hot bread put on the table. It took a little longer to get our drinks but the place was super busy. I think every table was packed.
3) We had a young waiter, who was definitely knowledgeable but it was difficult to hear what he was saying. Although he did get his message across in the end.
4) For appetizers, we shared some killer blue point oysters, some delicious bacon wrapped scallops and some massive shrimp cocktail and even some french onion soup. All came out right away.
5) For dinner I had a 20 oz, bone-in, NY strip, that was cooked to perfection. Juicy as hell. My father had a 14 oz veal chop and one of our friends had the single largest Prime Rib that I have ever seen and I am told that it was the small one. I tried a piece and it was mouth watering.
6) For dessert, we split some peanut/chocolate pie and enjoyed some sambuca. The waiter split our bills up individually and they had no trouble doing this.
Definitely bring your wallet to this place, but it was worth every last cent. You will not be disappointed with blue grillhouse. Oh and one more thing! They have a killer wine selection.
