Lovely lodge and lovely little town, really enjoyed our stay here. We picked the place randomly as we wanted to stay close to the Yosemite National Park. Couldn’t have picked a better place! Breakfast was good, room was clean and cosy.

Just stayed here for one night on out way to South Lake Tahoe. The room was quite large, with a lounge room separated from the bedroom by a wall. It was not stunning decor-wise but it was fine - neat, clean and tidy. We found the bed/pillow really uncomfortable and my other half woke up with a bad neck/headache. The bathroom was fairly small but looked like it had recently had a redo. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was quite good, with all the usual offerings. Wifi was included and worked well. Hotel was very quiet, no outside noise to speak of. Parking was just outside the door. Nothing flash, but a fine option for a one night stay.

First the good, the Hotel is across the street from the village, some good places to eat. The NY Deli has a great sandwich. The staff is friendly and the room average. It could use some updates. You get bottled water every day, which is handy in the mountains as you will need to drink a lot. It is close to all the shuttles for old Mammoth road and to the mountain. The bus ride to Devil's Post pile was great and the hiking was tremendous.
Now the not so good. If you get the less expensive deal, be prepared to be on the first floor. The bed is "FIRM" with small pillows. The delivery for the restaurant next door, happens at 4.30 am or 6:00 am if the truck is late. The driver takes a long time to back in and then slam his loading ramp. Great to wake up to. They provided breakest is very average, but they seem to have plenity, unless you get there a little late. Becareful in the shower as the water goes to instant "VERY" hot and takes a while to cool down.

Room Tip: Free shuttles to the places around, lakes and mountain
