Staff friendly. Plenty of parking. Bed old, sagging. Breakfast included, so-so. A large Starbucks next door. Ski shuttle 5 min walk and not frequent enough. Checked in early, nice for hitting slopes after arriving.

We booked to stay here for one night to use as a base to explore Yosemite. On arrival we were told that we were too early to check in, which was fair enough because we were. However, this gave us an opportunity to look around the hotel, specifically the pool area. We were less than impressed and so made a decision to stay elsewhere. I can’t comment on the rooms because we never got to see them but the hotel was very shabby and tired.

Enjoyed my stay at the Shilo Inn... great value, room was spacious, clean, staff very friendly, quiet, etc. Will stay there again for sure. Red Line bus stop conveniently located around the corner. Starbucks steps away from the hotel's front door. Breakfast was good, continental so nothing amazing, but its what I expected. Indoor pool and spa were great. Parking plentiful, even with a full hotel. Great job!

The hotel is really well located, it has a great indoor heated swimming pool and hot tube, the rooms are spacious and really neat. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is included and it is really good too. It has coffee, tea, juice, hot cocoa, cereals, waffles, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs and a handful of pastries. There is a bus stop to mammoth mountain ski resort half a block from it. It is in front of Starbucks cafe and really close to a drugstore.

It's not that bad. Out dated facility Could use a face lift . The pool and jacuzzi need work. Continental breakfast needs improvement . 2nd floor seems to be in a never ending construction project. ..

Room tip: No ground floor rooms.

You know a hotel is old when they hand you a metal room key. There is one slow elevator. Walls show damage and carpets look like they are covered in years of grime. Rooms look 20-30 years out of date with historic pictures that look like they come from Walmart of the dollar store. Wouldn't call it a breakfast and you will probably take one look and head out to a coffee shop or McDonalds. Moreover you will be paying $150+ in peak period for a room that might cost $30-40 elsewhere.
Few positives, covered parking for winter, indoor pool for kids and beds comfortable; but otherwise I would not stay a second time.
