My clients brought me here after a day of meetings. We needed to continue our meeting (free wifi) and get some dinner.

Our waitress, Laura, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had a nice Belgian Ale and their delicious, homemade Veggie Burger - really good, and not beans like so many others. This was chick pea, carrots and other vegetables. It came with pomme frites, which were nicely seasoned.

Thank Alan B

A nice walk from the Barnes Museum and Franklin Park. Full beer and wine menu, some organic salads and sandwiches to supplement burgers, fries, onion rings et. al. We loved the hand-painted wall murals, the waitress (a student artist and actor living in the area) and the taste and appearance of the ample culinary servings. We especially enjoyed the natural neighborhood feel to the place. Nothing tacky. No plastic. The bar room was cozy, dim, well-aged. The restaurant room, high ceiling-ed, light, and modestly furnished. We stayed for half the afternoon, because it's that kind of place.

Our party of 5 had brunch on a Saturday. Waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about brunch specials and fast with our drinks. This is a great low-key place for good food and even better beer. If you like Monks Café in center city, you will like this place. It's the same guys running the show here.

We had an excellent waiter and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Cream of Parsnip soup was to die for! Cauliflower flatbread YUM! Mussels were fresh and flavorful. Burgers and fries right on target bursting w/ flavor.

I always love the atmosphere. Friendly neighbors, after work folk , and some out of towners.

Go now. Sit down, have a drink from their great selection of beers and RELAX!

Were staying nearby and passed this place and gave it a try. Sat outside on a warm evening. Many beer options. Wanted to try they were out of it so had a spicy Southwestern potato and ginger. Mussels were tasty and a large portion. Good food and prices.
