Traveling in Philadelphia for Thanksgiving, we chose the Moshulu for dinner. The atmosphere on the ship is unique and very comfortable.
The pre fixe dinner was $60 for adults and $25 for kids. Portion sizes weren’t very different and the kids had full sized appetizers, so either we got a great deal for the kids, or overcharged as adults. We were ok with the price overall.
We had a variety of appetizers, from Caesar salad to shrimp cocktail, to lobster bisque. All were well seasoned and tasty.
4 of us had traditional Thanksgiving dinner including, of course, turkey. It also had mashed potatoes, a great stuffing, carrots, sweet potato, green beans, and cranberries. All was delicious and substantial.
Dessert was an apple topped pumpkin cheesecake and a chocolate layer cake; a piece of each. Both were easy to eat with the family preferring the cheesecake 3-2.
This would have been a 5 except for the service. Our server seemed to try, but was overwhelmed and not very knowledgeable about the menu.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
