We have dined here on multiple occasions and the food has never been even a beat of of perfection. Wholesome, well flavored and beautifully presented we try something different on each visit. Our favorites are the Veal Saltimbocca, Lobster Ravioli, Gnocci and Goat Cheese Tortellini. Honestly, I can't even describe to you how the flavors of these dishes dance so beautifully, along with the house's namesake Chianti among the romantic setting of this hidden gem in Philadelphia's Old City. We have had many outstanding dining experiences in Philly and food is one of the reasons we love to call this place home. Don't forget the Ceasar Salad and Creme Brulee. Elena is sure to make your dining experience one of a kind with her contagious demeanor, knowledge of the menu, which is by the way, not limited to the names of the food, and her overall representation of the restaurant. Fine Dining at Mid-Range prices. Bistro Romano - you have our hearts...and our stomachs.
