Loved all our dishes. Enjoyed chatting with the hardworking waiter about travel! Will definitely be back!

We've been to a Basque restaurant once before, but so long ago we had forgotten it. Tinto provided a meal we will remember. Everything was delicious. A bit different from the Spanish tapas we're used to. Small plates gave us plenty of food--we ordered 4 things, one of which was a larger plate--and found it to be more than enough. Good wine selection. Beyond excellent service. Can't wait to return to Philadelphia and try more of the menu.

The food at Tinto is delicious. It is tapas style so the portions are fairly small but what you do get is amazing. Everything is beautifully presented, wonderfully seasoned, and perfectly prepared. We had not one disappointing dish. Likewise our service was very good. The support staff was very quick to remove dirty dishes once we finished a dish and then replace our used dishes and utensils with cleans ones. Similarly, they ensured that our water glasses were kept full.

In fact, the only compliant I have is that we felt somewhat rushed. The tables are small and at times we felt like were cramped by our dishes and we were being rushed. We would have appreciated it if that had staggered the meal more. I understand that it’s tapas style but having more than two dishes at once on such a small table is not ideal.

We’ve eaten at other tapas style restaurants before and they managed to time the deleivery of the dishes better so that the table wasn’t cluttered and we didn’t feel rushed. Had it not been for the rushed service, I would have gladly given Tinto an excellent rating.

In Philly for one night and we enjoyed an unexpectedly delicious meal at Tinto. We had an early-ish family dinner in the basement dining room which was quiet and intimate. Anthony provided great service - patient, knowledge and engaging. We enjoyed every aspect of the meal - authentic and wide range of bright flavors. Loved the octopus, green beans - with dates (so unique), potatoes (always a crowd pleaser), smoked paprika laced charcuterie, lamb chops and frozen “Turkish delight”! And located across one of the best Gelato stores in the US. We’ll certainly be back.

I was surprised to find vegan and vegetarian items on the menu in a Spanish restaurant. It was good. The ambient was sexy and the wine was excellent. Loved the service.
