Probably the best Indian buffet I've had since I arrived in Philly. Nice selection with some of my favorite paneer and chickpeas as well as the usual dishes like tandoori chicken. Very satisfied with the selection and the taste!

13$ open buffet with an added student discount = perfection

Highlights:
Palak Paneer (when hot)
Mutten
Samosas (when hot)
Heineken for 3.5$

Sitar... lieing seductively over the salad bar... priceless

I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We noticed that the place was jumping. Lots of happy people eating from the large buffet. The website says Chicken Makhani is the specialty of the house...so i expected Chicken Makhani to be on the buffet. Surprise! no Chicken Makhani. Lots and lots of chickpea dishes. The chicken dishes offered were only so-so and the nan was not fresh. I have been to far better lunch buffets in Indian restaurants. No iced tea except bottled stuff with sugar. It was a disappointment.

I stopped here after a visit to the inn at Penn hotel. The lunch buffet was inexpensive but very good. There was a nice variety of flavors. There was some spice to it but not overwhelming. I was able to get on and out quickly and enjoy some tasty food.
