This hotel is centrally located and just a couple of blocks from the park where they have a farmer's market on weekends in the summer. It is quiet and clean and the rooms are spacious. Room service was prompt and delicious. We had a chicken club and some desserts after a late arrival.
The downsides are that it is really expensive. We got a club level room which comes with breakfast but the breakfast is on a different floor (11). When I checked in the front desk did not inform me of the breakfast just that "I have access to level 11 and I am supposed to know what that means. The following day when my spouse asked about the breakfast I told him I did not know of a breakfast and went back to the front desk where I asked if my room includes breakfast and they again stated "You have access to level 11" I then asked what is on level 11 and was THEN informed that there is breakfast and snacks on level 11. Felt very much like a hidden code. Just tell the guests they get breakfast and it is on level 11.
There is not a pool and the restaurants that are on site are also a bit more style over substance. The coffee at the shop was good but, we sat for 20 minutes at the table for service without even being acknowledged.More
