One of the more well known sites along the battlefield destinations and it lives up to the experience of making one think and re-think what must have been going through a soldiers mind as he went through the area

Little Round Top provides visitors with a spectacular view for miles around. The Union soldiers; even though smaller in number, had advanced warning as the Confederate soldiers approached. I was able to visualize the fighting on the hillside.

You can drive or take the tour bus to the top of the hill and walk the paths and even climb up the tower.

Free Parking. Free for self-guided tour.

This was my wife's favorite site. She loved it!
The parking is great. The top of the hill is just a few steps away. Any pictures taken at this point are fantastic.
Just one caution. To the right is a bunch of jagged rocks. Be careful. Don't miss a step, it might hurt.

View from Little Round Top is amazing and gives a wonderful perspective of the battle and how the confederate troops approached.

Connecting to Devils Den is Little Round Top. A beautiful area that makes you stop and think of the atrocities and history of the area. We opted to take our time here and explore the area to take it in to the fullest. With the sun down, a certain vibe was felt along with the sound of horses snorting in an area where there were no pathways. It sent chills up our spines and we walked away with a story to tell.
All in all, a beautiful area of the parks system to wander and enjoy. Such rich history is beneath your feet here.
