This was by far the best B&B we have stayed at. The room was so charming and comfortable. The staff very attentive and helpful. The breakfast's were divine!! Great location to see Gettysburg and all it has to offer.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor room with balcony was fabulous!!!

Our son and daughter-in-law, my husband and I spent 2 perfect nights here. Great location for visiting Gettysburg. Beautifully appointed, spotless-clean rooms. A very warm welcome. Lovely gardens. Fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed the 8:00 a.m. visit with a battlefield expert. Great way to start our days.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. It was our first B&B experience together, and the folks at Gaslight did not fail to impress. Elizabeth, the manager, greeted us warmly upon arrival. She provided us with a tour of the Inn and showed us to our room, which was adequately equipped and rather spacious. Everything was organized down to the detail. We were left with no doubts that this was going to be an amazing stay. The breakfast was phenomenal both days: stuffed French toast day 1 and egg & cheese casserole day 2. These breakfast meals were the best meals we enjoyed throughout our three day getaway (they far surpassed our evening dining experiences in town). The Inn is meticulously maintained, and we wanted for nothing. Mike was gentlemanly and sat with us on our first day; he provided much appreciated recommendations and we enjoyed getting to know him.

We highly recommend a stay here. It is pure relaxation. We shall stay again soon!

We stayed in the Violet Room which was very cute and comfortable. After a day of traveling the soft bed was a blessing and I didn't want to leave the room to go to dinner. This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I really enjoyed it. The house and landscaping are beautiful and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed talking to the other guests and getting to meet new people.
The bed and breakfast is within walking distance to restaurants and attractions downtown. Information was provided to us with restaurant suggestions and it was very helpful! I really can't say enough about how pleased we were with our stay. We hope to return to Gettysburg for a longer stay and will be booking a room at the Gaslight Inn again!

We booked this B&B for a short stay this month. What a fantastic find. Our room opened directly into the garden and was both quaint and lovely. Our breakfast each day was delicious. In the evenings, there were always cookies and beverages .This B&B is located so that you can walk to virtually every place in town. But the best perk was the morning talks provided by Park guides. It was like a private classroom into the past of Gettysburg and the great battle fought there. We will definitely return to this B&B and I will recommend it to any friends going to Gettysburg.

We are a couple in our 70s visiting Gettysburg for the fourth time. In our travels over the years we have stayed in all sorts of places; expensive, cheap. urban hotels, chain motels, private rentals etc.
The Gaslight has the best characteristics of all venues. Superb rooms, older, beautifully maintained building and grounds. Five minutes by car from the Battlefield and five minutes on foot from downtown Gettysburg. Gracious hosts and well prepared food and snacks served in a formal dining room. Strong internet and TV reception. The total cost was far less than we have paid in even medium range chain hotels. And a private parking space. We highly recommend the Gaslight Inn. It's what you always hope for in a B&B and rarely experience.
