My tour passed by Jenny Wade's house and statue. She was the only civilian killed in the battle, and you can still see bullet holes in the house. Not a major stop on the tour, but an interesting tidbit.

We had one hour when we first arrived in Gettysburg and this was the perfect stop. There are tours and our guide was phenomenal. She provided a tremendous amount of information.

We arrived in Gettysburg for weekend and saw this house that was on our "to-see list" had just opened for tours so signed up and had a great tour. George was our tour guide and he is a very good story teller so right from the start we felt we were back in that time period going through daily routine of residents of Gettysburg and then tragedy occurred in this very house with the evidence there to see for ourselves. George was very informative and answered all our question, even had chance to talk to him up in the gift shop after his tour. Also gift shop has cute unique items, local books and cool jewelry. This was a great start to our special weekend in Gettysburg. Thank You!

We were staying in Gettysburg for four days and had the Jenny Wade house on our bucket list. It is really small and only takes a few minutes to visit, but worth listening and understanding the history of her significance.
