This is one of the standard stops on the Gettysburg tour. It's an important part of the battle at Gettysburg. It's nice to visit the actual site, preferably with a guide, to understand how the battle unfolded, and the importance of this spot.

This is one of the most interesting and historical sites related to the Battles of Gettysburg - it's a site not for the faint of heart or energy ... Breathtaking location, very haunted by its past ... Visit practically every time we visit Gettysburg

Devil's Den is a rock formation with giant boulders located below Little Round Top. This area is full of history due to the massacre during the Battle of Gettysburg. It is a beautiful place to visit today as you get to climb up and through the boulders. Breath-taking views. Notice the monuments once you get to the top of the hill.

Tour buses stop here. If you are traveling independently, there are a few parking spots off the road.

I learned this place is called Devil's Den because of the snakes that would slither though the large cracks.
The cracks are very deep and go down for feet and feet and feet. Watch your step. And it is not recommended if you have a hard time walking. Be careful especially if you are bringing kids. The rocks are sharp and jagged.

The Devils Den turned out to be my favorite part of the park. With its giant boulders and beautiful surroundings, there is plenty to explore in this area. It humbles you when you read the history behind Gettysburg and the areas in which you are standing on. Near nightfall, there is a vibe to the area that one can feel. Some photographs taken near the adjacent sniper area revealed some interesting photos afterwards. All in all, a fantastic section of park to visit, especially with small children. Just be careful with the rock playground here.
