The FDR boyhood home is a terrific place to tour. You have access to all the bedrooms, which can't be said about some other presidential homes. The tour of the home provides good insights into the life of the president, his wife, and family. FDR was born in this home and sleep in another bedroom while he was president. Both rooms can be viewed, including the actual bed on which FDR was born. This tour and that of the presidential library nearby are well worth the time. I'd like to go again. Plan at least two hours to see it all.
