We just stopped in here for the breakfast buffet. What a great choice! All the breakfast items were fantastic. The scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, biscuits and gravy were all hot and plentiful. Two of our group ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were also tasty. What a GREAT way to start off our day.

Wanted to go to FORT DAVIS DRUG STORE AND HOTEL & RESTAURANT. Found out they are closed on Saturdays. Decided to try The Porch which is across the street. Every table was dirty so we went to front to order and waited for a table to be cleaned. A table was finally picked up but was never wiped down which was noticed by my wife. Waiting forever for the sandwiches to arrive the waiter was to busy and rude to answer a couple of questions. The sandwiches were just OK had a small slice of pickle on side and we bought a couple bags of chips to go with it. Since our experience was less than minimum I did not care to leave a tip of more than !0% on the table. Arriving back to SA I noticed the charge I made without the tip and now there was an extra $4.00 added to it by the restaurant. Granted $4 is not something to complain about but the fact the restaurant added the extra tip is absurd. I did report this to my credit account monitor.

Six of us had lunch and really enjoyed the grilled panini and soup. Moderately priced and nice atmosphere.

Spring Break. We arrived about 20 minutes before they closed, a party of 6 looking for lunch. Between the 6 of us we had salad, soup, paninis and quiche. All good. It was just right. I would recommend them for lunch.

Breakfast buffet which was picked over. One biscuit, 2 pieces bacon, cold gravy and 3 cups of rigid eggs remained. When we asked if the buffet would be restocked we were told, "there's enough food left there for 3 people! Just terrible
